From its blue and red neon-accented motif to its innovative menu, Blue Bamboo has wowed the public and local media since its 2005 opening. Chef/owner Dennis Chan is a grandson of the Eng family, notable purveyors of Chinese fare in over 10 Jacksonville restaurants over the years, but Chan's cuisine redefines the classics with contemporary flair. Entrées include honey-soy grilled lamb, crispy orange duck and chile-mango salmon. The long list of Street Eats (small plates) is a big draw. One of Jacksonville magazine's Top 25 restaurants of 2009. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly.
