For those of us with grains still proudly supporting our food pyramids, La Farm Bakery and its new adjoining cafe just might be heaven. And that's not entirely because of the delectable spread of carb-loaded treats on display within arm's reach, or even because of the beams of light pouring through the front windows. Bread-making is an art form at La Farm under the direction of world-renowned French baker Lionel Vatinet and wife/business-partner Missy. Signature sandwiches – made with nitrate-free meats – are eclectic enough to complement the 14 varieties of original breads. A gorgeous assortment of tarts, pastries and scones taste just as good as they look, especially the cinnamon buns and the pain au chocolat. Kids' menu. No alcohol available. Bakery and cafe serving breakfast, lunch and early dinner 7 am–7 pm Mon–Sat. Sun brunch 9 am–3 pm (bakery hours 7 am–5 pm Sun).
