Just a hop, skip and magic carpet ride away from Disney World, Cedar's Restaurant brings exotic Lebanese cuisine to the trendy Sand Lake Road/Doctor Phillips area. The operating family's New York-restaurant background certainly contributes to Cedar's success. Offering an elegant white-tablecloth atmosphere with a spectacular outdoor terrace, Cedar's features a menu starting with a variety of excellent small plates. You use delicious house-made pita bread to sop up the likes of baba ganoush, hummus and creamy shanklish (crumbled cheese with thyme, onions and tomato. Cedar's specialty remains the traditional shish kabobs. A variety of seasoned chicken, lamb, beef and seafood options fill out the main course menu, with a list of daily specials also worth considering. Music and belly dancing on the weekends add to the Cedar's experience, as does the full bar's spectacular wine list.
