From the restaurant's website:
"Bar Artisanal represents Chef-Proprietor Terrance Brennan's first venture downtown. The TriBeCa bistro and bar is a dressed-down version of the acclaimed Artisanal Fromagerie, Bistro & Wine Bar, and maintains the same commitment to the use of artisanal, sustainable and organic products. Bar Artisanal features inventive cocktails created to pair well with cheese; an accessible wine list; and sumptuous dishes that are priced $20 and under. ... The piece de resistance of Bar Artisanal is the Bar du Fromage et Charcuterie that will serve a selection of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie. A communal table in the bar will encourage impromptu dining, while a wood-fired oven will turn out creative Pissaladieres (French-style pizzas) including one with Sheep's Milk Ricotta, Fava Bean Pesto and Speck. In addition to Pissaladieres, the French-inspired menu will feature Petit Plats such as Cod, Chorizo, Fingerling Potatoes, and Cockles, Stuffed Skate with Leeks and Daube Sauce and Grilled Lamb Chops, Parmesan Polenta and Bagna Cauda, and a Menu du Burgers including a Lamb Burger on an Olive Roll with a Goat Cheese Center."
