Watershed restaurant has been blurring the line between home cooking and fine dining since opening in a converted service station in suburban Decatur. The funky-chic space proves the ideal location for indulging in a seasonal menu with Southern flair. Tuesday's Southern Fried Chicken Night is a particular treat at Watershed, and from-scratch desserts, including one of the area's best chocolate cakes, are an absolute must. Country ham with red-eye gravy, banana fritters, and omelets with roasted new potatoes make Sunday brunch one of the best times to visit. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner Mon–Sat. Sun brunch 10 am-3 pm. One of the Atlanta Constitution-Journal's Top 50 Restaurants of 2008. Voted Best Fried Chicken in the 2009 Creative Loafing readers poll. Named to Atlanta magazine's Hall of Fame in 2008. Chef Scott Peacock was the winner of the James Beard Foundation's 2007 Best Chef: Southeast award.
